The Unexpected Guest

One of my very first collages. Created for the Stables Art Gallery open call based upon the same name. The play was being performed in the theatre and the accompanying exhibition featured a plethora of literary works, Agatha Christie links and lots of mediums.

I started with the man in the hat first and created the scene using a combination of about four different rooms including the floor. The background is a monoprint of mine that work for the 'foggy woods' like a charm. I loved the mix of rooms styles within this piece.
