Bexhill Footbridge Gallery

A fantastic local project to transform Bexhill-on-Sea railway station footbridge into a colourful public open-air art gallery. The project aimed to create a positive and lasting impact on the local area, in a location which had fallen into disrepair in recent years, while making art and Bexhill-on-Sea more visible, accessible and inspiring for the local community.

My 'Live to 100 in Bexhill' collage piece was chosen to be on the wall for the next three years and it's wonderful to see it in person as I use the bridge frequently. I also get regular messages from friends as they pass by it.

States of Assemblage

It was great to include two collage pieces in  "States of Assemblage" art exhibition at Unit 2, St Leonards-on-Sea. Curated by Laurence Tidy, it showcased contemporary, three-dimensional, and mixed-media works by Sussex-based artists. The exhibition explored varied techniques—collage, sculpture, and found-object, or "bricolage," constructions—while examining the relationship between material, place, and meaning.

The BABS award

The BABS Award (Brilliant.Art.Breaking.Standards) was an open call group show based in St Leonard’s on Sea, East Sussex. The exhibition, themed "FAMILY," was hosted by The St Leonard's Pub in memory of "Babs," the owner's mother. It was so much fun to be part of a receive a Judge's Commendation from Lorna Hamilton-Brown who also purchased my piece.

Supernatural

An immersive art exhibition that delved into the haunting themes of Henry James’s classic horror novella, 'The Turn of the Screw'. Exploring the boundaries between innocence and malevolence. each piece invited people to encounter the unseen forces that linger in the shadows of the story and confront their own perceptions of fear, desire, and the supernatural.
