When I heard about the Bayeux Tapestry coming to the UK, and myself living in Battle, I just KNEW I had to create a themed collage on the subject. Months of planning and collecting suitable ephemera, cutting and adjusting each person as I assembled my version of events. Obviously it's a very condensed version at only 1m rather than 70m but it's still my largest and most comprehensive piece to date.
It's debut was in the most suitable place. Battle itself! As it was in the memorial hall as part of the BDAG Annual Art Exhibition and Sale, of which I am a member.
